TED is a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short and powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference on Technology, Entertainment and Design, and today covers almost all subjects – from science to business to global problems – in more than 100 languages.
I like to think outside the box and I like some of the ideas presented by TED speakers. It is a different approach to change things, a most innovative and creative approach. Yes, some may say that the people at TED are dreamers or have large projects that can not be achieved, but I believe in the applicability of those ideas and I think people who come there have the power to change things for the better.
I will post the TED speeches I like and which I hope to open minds. The first of these posts is of Sir Kenneth Robertson: Why Schools kills creativity?. I wrote an editorial about it, article that can be found on contributors.
